It was successful! Tall Ship Noorderlicht from the Masterskip education program has been freed. The captain and engineer are now conducting necessary checks to ensure safety. After the authorities release the ship, the ‘world trip during school time’ can continue with experiencing adventures.
Last night, the Frisian sailboat Noorderlicht from Swan Expeditions received assistance from the Norwegian coastguard in moving its crew. The ship ran aground in a Norwegian fjord around 02:30. After inspection, it turned out there was no damage.

At first, it was very scary for the trainees. They were woken up with the message to dress warmly. The calmness of the regular crew prevented panic from arising.
